I wrote this piece on Day 35 of my initial pandemic lockdown in 2020. Originally I wrote it to accompany a video that I made in response to the George Floyd murder: vimeo.com/441648829

More recently I I had the opportunity to perform this piece at a fundraiser for Ukraine, which happened to fall on the 34th day of the war.

It's a piece of music that for me is an expression of mourning.

Andrew plays a beautiful arco (bowed bass) solo on this recording that I love.
