This piece was written for integer to perform a few years ago, minus the unison bass part in the second half of the form. When we decided to record it, I felt like it needed some more substance, and thus the unison bass part. The title, "Hurry Up & Wait" refers to the basic phrasing of the main theme, in six-measure chunks that seem to move briskly through the changes but always plateauing on Bb (the tonic or home base chord).
